Landmark Theatres, founded in 1974, is the nation's largest theatre chain devoted exclusively to art and independent film, with 55 theatres in 22 markets. Landmark is a leader in theatre technology and services, providing customers with digital cinema, upscale concessions, on-site DVD sales, specialized merchandise, film festivals and special events. Known for its progressive and savvy film programming, as well as its unique way of nurturing and marketing independent film, Landmark Theatres occupies an unrivaled and important position in the motion picture industry.

Landmark's theatres include historic buildings, such as the Mayan Theatre in Denver and the Oriental Theatre in Milwaukee, as well as newly built facilities across the nation, including The Keystone Art Cinema in Indianapolis, all devoted to offering outstanding entertainment experiences for moviegoers.

Landmark Theatres is committed to expanding its nationwide footprint in this growing segment of the film industry. Opening this summer are two new state-of-the-art theatres: Landmark Harbor East, a brand new 7-screen theatre in Baltimore, MD, located directly on the water in the heart of the city. And The Landmark Theaters—6 screens located in Greenwood Village, one of South Denver's fastest growing, lifestyle developments.

And last but certainly not least, is our new flagship theatre in West Los Angeles, The Landmark—12 screens in the completely renovated Westside Pavilion Shopping Center. Opening in June, 2007, the new theatre complex will not only have the highest quality projection and sound, but will also feature a wine and beer bar, gourmet concession items, leather seats and many other upscale amenities.

Landmark Theatres is part of a vertically-integrated group of media companies co-owned by Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban that also includes production companies 2929 Productions and HDNet Films, theatrical and home video distributor Magnolia Pictures, and high-definition cable channels HDNet and HDNet Movies.
